What age do I need to be to hire a Campervan from DM Campervans?
You must be aged between 17 and 75 although we can make a request to our insurance company outside of this. Please send us an email with a copy of your driver’s license if you would like us to check. Email: admin@dmcampervans.co.uk
Am I covered by insurance?
Insurance is an extra charge by the day. Option for additional drivers can be added and a charge will occur (excess will apply ask for more details)
Personnel belonging are not covered on the drivers insurance
What is included when hiring a campervan?
Price includes the campervan selected, Unlimited mileage for the duration of the rental period and
breakdown cover for UK
Is campervan fuel included?
Our campervan will come with a full tank of fuel and we expect it to be returned with a full thank of fuel.
What is NOT included?
Towels & bedding, Camping equipment, Camping furniture, kitchen kit, toilet and gas
What type of license do I need ?
A normal UK car license is required to drive any of the campervans we currently have.
Where do I pick up the campervan?
DM Campervans, Longton, Preston, Lancashire
Can I take the van into Europe?
Please contact us regarding taking the campervans into Europe
Do you have automatic or manual campervans?
All our vans at DM Campervans are manual
What is your cancelation policy for hiring a DM Campervan?
In the event of a cancellation by the hirer, the following charges shall be incurred:
- If cancelled 30+ nights prior to pick up – 25% of the rental price
- If cancelled 14 nights or less prior to pick up: 50% of the rental price
- If cancelled 7 nights or less prior to pick up: 100% of the rental price
Is kitchen and bedding included?
No not included
Am I allowed to bring a pet?
Yes, small pets are allowed but please note a cleaning fee can be added if the van is returned unsatisfactorily cleaned.
Is there a minimum hire period ?
Yes, 2 nights.
Is there a maximum mileage allowed?
No, we allow unlimited mileage
Can more than one person drive?
Yes, more drivers are permitted but must be named and an extra insurance cost will be incurred.
